Books to read (?)

Recently I started reading the books:

1) The Monk who sold his Ferrari
2) Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance
3) The Alchemist

From when I remember, I always did a shallow reading. So I wanted to try studying some books which I usually dont do. So these are all the books which I have taken to find what it takes to study a book.

Books in pipeline:

1) THE AUTOBIOGRAPHY OFBENJAMIN FRANKLIN
2) The Virtue Of Selfishness_Ayn Rans
3) The Speed Reading Course - Stephen Covey

"Water under the bridge"

"Water under the bridge"

What does this phrase mean?

It means that something is in the past and no longer important.
Water under the bridge is an idiom cliche used to refer to something that is over and gone and so not worth thinking any more about. It dares from the twentieth century and is still widespread, as "She used to go out with the boy next door but that's all water under the bridge. She married someone else long ago." From _Cliches_ (1996) by Betty Kirkpatrick.
